FoE-Ghana focuses on environmental, social and economic issues, believing it is only possible to bring about sustainable and socially equitable development if all these issues are addressed together. They are incorporated and promoted within every activity we undertake and underpin the policies that guide our actions. Community participation is critical to the success of our work. We recognise that only projects that fully account for the diversity of cultures, needs and aspirations of the communities within which we work will gain their full support and be successful over the long term.

We now have more than three hundred local groups in Ghana with a FoE-Ghana membership of over 15,000, each sharing our vision for sustainability and actively participating in our work at national and local levels.
